Design Reaction’s first custom design Facebook page has gone live, and can be found on the clients Fan page. This CMS site boasts easy to use admin features, and an automated events display.
The site was built for Lowri and Helen to use to promote their fundraising events in aid of the charities Ataxia UK and Cancer Research UK.
The custom design Facebook fan page promotes upcoming charity events, information on their trek up Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa beginning October 9th 2011, an itinerary, and boasts a counter to keep fans updated with how much has been raised to date.
The site is maintained using WordPress’ easy to use back end system so the client has total control of adding, editing and removing events and blog posts.
The client was just as happy as I was with the outcome and works well with plenty of scope to extend the capabilities of the site if required.
With this site launched and the South Wales Cottage website coming up to completion, Design Reaction have taken on another project for a local garage, Tuf Treads Ltd. in Pontyberem, South Wales, that specialize in re-treading tyres for large commercial vehicles.
Design mock-ups have been sent out to the client, so I am waiting to hear back to make the requested amendments to the design prior to building the site.
The site will be Business to Business (B2B) led, and will need to be a CMS so that the client can log in and change tyre patterns as and when needed when there are new products available.
The client is looking to launch the site in September which will also promote their tyre garage in Cross Hands, South Wales, that provide general vehicle services such as tyres & brakes, Servicing and MOT’s.
Visit the portfolio page in a short while to see the end product and the live site.
